Mayo Results

I guess I forgot to give you all an update when I returned from Mayo. They diagnosed Celiac's disease which is an autoimmune allergy to gluten (wheat, barley, rye, & a few lesser known grains). My body has been attacking my intestines to destroy the villi that absorb the evil gluten. In the process, my body hasn't been able to absorb much of anything leading to the extreme fatigue, abdominal pain, and other things.

So another autoimmune disorder to tact up to the Zeets side of the family. Love you all!

I learned via Facebook that today is Ann and David's 16 year anniversary! Am I correct Ann? I just wanted to offer you my congratulations! Also, I have to say that my fondest and most fun wedding memories as a child were from your wedding - when I was all of 8 years old :)

John is in San Fran. He likes his job and is staying at a motel for now but end of next week moves to a house in South S. F. Two nannies live there now. One is British and in her early 40's the other is Brazilian and in her early 20's(she's also a student). They all are renters and share utilities etc. We went on goggle maps and saw the outside of the house. Isn't technology cool? It seems like it will work for him. They have space for his belongings which he'll ship out mid Sept. Oh, on the lodge info. Mariann and Barb B. want to be updated on things as time gets closer cause they maybe can come.

Was there a change?

Hey family, Katie set up a great site for us all to share our campout pics. To my knowledge, only Katie and I have uploaded pictures. It's really easy to follow the link she sent and set up an account. The also make it super easy to upload pictures. Another CA Transplant :)

I had thought for sure my mom would post about this, but I haven't seen it yet, so I figured I would share some exciting news about my brother John. He has been applying for various transfers within his company to other locations across the country and just over a week ago he interviewed for a transfer/promotion in San Francisco! Well, then wanted him for the position, and RIGHT AWAY, so he and Sam spent this weekend driving out to CA, and today John begins his new position as a Consultant with Magenic (that is the company he's with). With his new position, he not only does the computer programming on client projects, but now he does the client consulting on the projects as well. Our entire family is just thrilled for him, and he has been dreaming of moving to San Francisco for several years now, so this is such exciting news!

I hope everyone is doing well, good luck to all of the kiddos and collegiates going back to school!

Oh! I forgot to tell you all... John got a promotion to become a consultant in San Francisco! Him and Sam will drive there starting tomorrow evening and John starts work on Monday! We are happy for him and his recognition for doing a good job. Only thing, he is going to the 2nd highest, cost of living, city to live in! He'll be searching out places to live over the weekend.
