what a day!

This a.m. I read a EMail response to my lodge inquiry and it said our balance was $1300 instead of $900! I freaked and looked up all my previous correspondence and EMailed her to call me back cause we had booked at a last summer rate. Many hours past and no phone call! So I called a good friend and was prayed with, over the phone, for a quick resolve to the problem. 5 minutes later the lodge lady called and apologized for sending the wrong info! Prayer works! I'm going to keep her phone # for future times! Also we won't rent the lodge for Thurs. nite. Too expensive! I found out we can get in as early as 8am Friday. And leave by 4pm Monday! Good news! The travel plans I know: Katie flying in Wed. midnight. Joni and Mariann flying in Thurs. afternoon. They'll be staying Thurs. and Monday night at our house. Fran is flying in Fri. 11:30 a.m. I'll pick her up at the airport but the other gals can go early to the lodge. You can post your plans for possible arrival times. Katie heard from Jackie that her Mom Chris will be coming with them. If any one else wants to come in Thurs I can arrange for you to stay the night at friends houses. I can do the same for Mon. night. Let me know what you think. By having the early check in and late check out we can get alot done on our time away projects and just plain chillin' and being together! It's all coming together!

MN Reception Date Error

Well, can you believe that I put the WRONG DATE on the save-the-date card for the MN Reception?!?! I feel silly. But, the correct date is Saturday Dec 4th. So, if you could all help spread the word, that would be great.

Well, at least I had the date right for the wedding :)

Chicago, here we come!

David and I just got our flights for Andrew and Jackie's wedding! We're really excited to see everybody and for their wedding of course!

6 weeks (shower) and 2 1/2 months(wedding)!!!

It's getting close! Katie is getting the shower invites out soon and Andrew and Jacki's registries will be included. Good news, Kathy and Annie Zeets are coming! She is bringing a couple of sewing machines! Yah! Katie wants to do a jewelry making project for her wedding. If anyone else besides Kathy is quilting let me know because the staff will set up tables and ironing boards etc. They have a cricut machine and I have the pads to go in it. This machine is used to cut out letters and forms. I'm waiting to hear who in Jacki's family is coming. Her Mom Chris and maybe a sister and sister-in-law. When I have the total # of people coming I'll let you know totals due. I'll put $20 a piece in that total for food. Fran is the only one from her family coming. She'll fly in Thurs. or Fri. Flying in Thurs. and staying at my house on Thurs. and Mon. night is: Mariann, Joni and Katie (maybe Fran). I did Email the lodge lady to ask what the price would be for Thurs. night. If it's reasonable that might be an option for those of us here on Thurs. I'm e-mailing this to those not on this blog.
